RASC News Agency: Following an explosion in the Rokha district of Panjshir province, the Afghanistan Freedom Front recently announced that its forces launched an attack on the Taliban’s intelligence headquarters in this district, resulting in the demise of two Taliban members. As depicted in a video released by the Afghanistan Freedom Front on social media, this assault unfolded on Thursday night, December 14th, leading to the injury of another Taliban member. The group asserts that the attack also inflicted damage on the Taliban’s intelligence building in Rokha.

Local Taliban authorities in Panjshir province have refrained from commenting on this attack. This is noteworthy since the Afghanistan Freedom Front claimed a week ago that its forces targeted the Taliban’s provincial governor’s office in this province. Following this attack, the Afghanistan Freedom Front proclaimed that, as a consequence, four members of the Taliban in this province were killed—a claim verified by the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior, albeit without providing further details.

It is noteworthy that the frequency of attacks by anti-Taliban fronts on the positions of the Taliban in various provinces has markedly increased recently. Earlier, the National Resistance Front reported that eight Taliban members were killed and injured in Nuristan and Kabul provinces. Reports indicate that leaders of anti-Taliban fronts, such as the Afghanistan Freedom Front and the National Resistance Front, have confirmed an escalation in their covert operations, asserting they will persist in these assaults until Afghanistan is liberated from Taliban control.
