RASC News Agency: The spokesman of the Taliban group recently told the BBC that all those who were killed in suicide attacks and roadside mines of this group in the 20 years of their war against the republican regime in Afghanistan were national traitors and that their killing by members of this group does not needs to be apologized.
Mr. Mujahid, in an interview with the BBC’s senior international correspondent, in response to the question that thousands of civilians, including innocent women and children, were killed in your attacks, did you ask them for forgiveness or do you want them?
He said: “We pardoned the criminals, they should have been killed, some people had stood by the occupiers, they were national traitors and should have been executed, and they were all criminals, so why should we ask for pardon from the criminals?”
While talking about national traitors and not needing to apologize to the families of people killed in the attacks of this group, Mr. Mujahid said that in 20 years of suicide attacks, explosions of roadside mines and their military attacks, nearly 48 thousand civilians including women and children in the country has been killed and the total number of casualties of the 20-year war between this group and the government of the Republic of Afghanistan has been reported as 174,000.
This is while the Save the Children organization announced in the middle of 1401 that in the 20 years of the Taliban’s war against the Afghanistani security forces and their international partners, around 33,000 children have been killed or maimed.
Most of the casualties of civilians and children occurred in the suicide attacks of the Taliban group on big cities like Kabul, based on statistics published by human rights organizations, the Taliban group was the main cause of killing 75% of civilians, especially children and women.
Before this, Tadamichi Yamamoto, the UN Secretary General’s special representative for Afghanistan, said: “The cost of this heinous war in Afghanistan includes the loss of lives, destruction and excessive suffering and pain.”
According to him, “the continuous and indiscriminate use of embedded and illegal explosive materials by the Taliban group is regrettable and the use of such materials should be stopped.”
At the same time, Zaid Ra’ad al-Hussein, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, published the statistics of the casualties of the Taliban’s war with the Afghanistani security forces and said: “Although this report is terrible, the statistics can never fully describe the human suffering of the Afghanistani people.” express.”
According to him, from each of the figures of casualties of civilians, in fact, a family is affected, and this statistic shows the unimaginable trauma, sufferings and cruel violations of human rights of the people.
Previously, in February 2022, Sirajuddin Haqqani, the leader of the Haqqani network, said in a meeting in Kandahar province that only the fighters of this network had committed 1,050 suicide attacks during the 20 years of war with the previous government of Afghanistan. Mr. Haqqani asked the people not to forget the perpetrators of these attacks.
In addition to hundreds of suicide attacks in Kabul and different parts of the country, the car bomb attack on the Zanbaq Avenue and the car bomb attack on the Sadarat avenue in Kabul are among the deadliest terrorist attacks by the Taliban against civilians. The suicide attack on the Zanbaq Avenue killed 150 people and injured 400. In another case, 103 civilians were killed and 235 others were injured in a suicide attack on the Sadarat Avenue in Kabul.
At the same time, UNAMA has reported that the Taliban group is currently the main cause of the killing of civilians in the two years of its rule over Afghanistan, and describing the lack of access to the main statistics of the killing of civilians by this group in the provinces of Afghanistan, especially in the north. It has published a report saying that in the two years of the Taliban rule over Afghanistan; more than a thousand civilians have been killed.
Meanwhile, the Taliban group called the killed children, women, school students, girls, drivers, worshipers, street vendors and road workers as national traitors and supported their killing in their suicide attacks and considered their killing a part of their “Jihad”. They know that civilians and children were killed in most of their attacks, which were carried out to attract media attention to large cities and crowded areas.
At least 80 people were killed and 230 others were injured in the suicide attack of the Taliban group on the protest movement of the Enlightenment Movement in Deh Mazang of Kabul city, all of whom were civilians and were filing civil lawsuits for their citizenship rights.
At the same time, those who know about the affairs have considered Mr. Mujahid’s words as a clear insult to the blood of the martyrs and the families of the oppressed people in the terrorist attacks of this group and said that no matter how hard the Taliban group tries to falsify history and cover up its 20-year-old crimes. It will not get anywhere, as the experts believe. The blood of the martyrs of the people of Afghanistan, who were mercilessly shed by the Taliban group for 20 years on the orders of Pakistan, has been recorded in the history of this country. The inscriptions on the stones on the tombs of the people killed in the brutal attacks of the Taliban group have been evidence of the crime of this group for some time and will not be forgotten.
Mohammad Hussain Danesh, an expert on legal issues and a university professor, says that although the historical lessons and crimes committed in Afghanistan are soon forgotten by the people, the suicide attacks of the Taliban group on cities, hospitals and educational centers are unique in the history of the world. The pain of these crimes is deeply felt in the heart. The oppressed families of Afghanistan are engraved and will never be forgotten.
At the same time, the mother of a 12-year-old teenager, who was killed in a suicide attack at the Kabul airport on August 10, 2015, lost her teenage son, who was the sole breadwinner of his family of seven, and who was providing food for them by calling “Ride for passenger cars”. says that by killing her teenage son, the Taliban ruined their lives and the pain of losing him burns her heart every day, although according to her, she does not expect to ask for forgiveness from the Taliban group, nor will she forgive them. “In God’s trial, I will stand in front of you, Zabihullah Mujahid, and I will say, what was the crime of my son?” She also said: “Taliban group understands that it is not possible to forgive the murderer of children, that’s why they don’t ask for forgiveness from the people, they didn’t destroy enough people to be forgiven now.”
In addition to 20 years of war and suicide in Afghanistan and the killing of thousands of Afghanistani citizens, the Taliban group has not stopped killing innocent people and civilians in Afghanistan every day in various provinces of the country, including Kabul, accusing them of collaborating with their opposition fronts and committing crimes.
