RASC News Agency: Fasihuddin Fitrat, the chief of the Taliban group’s army staff, recently emphasized that war is not the solution in Afghanistan. He urged those opposing the Taliban to cease fighting and engage in dialogue and negotiation to address their concerns. Mr. Fitrat conveyed this message during a visit to Badakhshan province, highlighting that armed opposition to the Taliban will not achieve its desired outcome through warfare. He emphasized that resorting to war will yield no effective results.
Furthermore, the chief of the Taliban group’s army staff dismissed the concerns of Central Asian countries regarding the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan. He asserted that there are no terrorist groups in Afghanistan and assured Central Asian countries that the Taliban will combat any such groups operating from Afghanistan soil. Additionally, Mr. Fitrat stated that the activities of the ISIS group in Afghanistan have been suppressed, and its leaders have been neutralized, making it impossible for them to operate and challenge the Taliban forces.
It is essential to note that the chief of the Taliban group’s army staff makes these statements. However, Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan, recently experienced a series of explosions resulting in casualties, with the ISIS group claiming responsibility. Despite widespread concerns expressed by many countries about the presence and activities of terrorist groups under the Taliban’s control, the group continues to dismiss these concerns as baseless. Nevertheless, reports indicate the significant presence of terrorist groups, particularly ISIS, in Afghanistan.
