RASC News Agency: In the Herat province, as per local sources, a young man recently fell victim to unknown assailants. This incident unfolded in front of the district hospital in Herat province at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 7th. The victim’s identity remains undisclosed, and the responsible party behind the shooting remains ambiguous. Despite the escalating criminal activities, particularly the enigmatic and targeted murders rampant in various provinces, including Herat, the Taliban group in Herat has refrained from issuing any statements on this specific fatality.

In a distinct occurrence, six individuals, among them two religious scholars, succumbed to gunfire inflicted by unidentified assailants in the Jibrail area of Herat province. Public sentiment points accusatory fingers at the Taliban group, attributing numerous instances of murder and terror across provinces to them. It’s noteworthy that the Taliban group faces widespread censure for transgressing citizens’ rights since assuming control, with no institution holding them accountable for their actions. Despite the Taliban’s assertions of ensuring complete security, daily reports persistently underscore the deteriorating security landscape in Afghanistan.

The surge in targeted assassinations and criminal endeavors has instigated public apprehension due to the anonymity of perpetrators and obscure motives behind these acts. The absence of accountability, coupled with the Taliban’s reluctance to adopt a definitive stance on such incidents, amplifies the prevalent sense of insecurity within the nation. It is imperative for authorities to promptly address these concerns and implement requisite measures to guarantee the safety and well-being of the populace.
