RASC News Agency: According to Credible sources from Badakhshan province, it has been reported that a former soldier of the National Security special Force lost his life due to torture inflicted by the Taliban in this region. Sources informed the media on Wednesday , December 6th, that this former National Security soldier from the previous government had been apprehended by the Taliban three nights ago from his residence in Faizabad, the central city of Badakhshan province. According to sources, members of the Taliban left his lifeless body in front of his house last night, and reports indicate that this former military personnel succumbed to severe torture inflicted by the Taliban, evident in the marks on his body.

Sources identified this former soldier as Ehsanullah and added that he had served as a member of the National Security Special Force in the previous government. This situation unfolds against the backdrop of the detention, torture, imprisonment, and killing of former government soldiers by the Taliban, which is not a novel development. In their over two years of rule, the Taliban have detained, tortured, and, in some instances, killed hundreds of former military personnel.

In the latest episode of detentions of former government soldiers by the Taliban, there were prior reports that members of this group had detained two former government soldiers in Balkh province, and information about their fate remains undisclosed. However, according to available information, despite daily reports of detentions, torture, imprisonment, and killing of former government soldiers by the Taliban, they persist in emphasizing amnesty under the leadership associated with this group.
