RASC News Agency: According to reports, the Taliban group in Afghanistan has apprehended 25 members of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), urging the leaders of the Pakistani Taliban to cease their assaults within Pakistan. Media sources revealed on Wednesday, December 6th, that certain individuals from the Pakistani Taliban have confirmed the arrest of significant leaders in Kabul, Nangarhar, and Kunar provinces over the past few days.

The detained individuals reportedly include those identified by Pakistan and handed over to the Afghanistani Taliban. Pakistan claims that these TTP members were involved in the attack on the air force training center in Punjab province’s Maywala, claimed by an armed group affiliated with Tehrik-i-Jihad Pakistan.

Among the Pakistani Taliban members arrested by the Taliban group are Azhar, Musa, Zaishan, and Toor Mullah, who were apprehended on the Jalalabad-Kabul highway. Additionally, local sources from Kunar province reported that five important leaders of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, hailing from Malakand Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, were arrested three days ago by the Taliban group.

In the midst of these developments, a Pakistani Taliban leader expressed, “We are currently facing challenging times. The arrest of our comrades has commenced, and we pray for the safety of the remaining members.” Furthermore, Abdul Haq Wasiq, the head of the Taliban group’s intelligence, has requested Mufti Noor Wali, the leader of the Pakistani Taliban, to halt their attacks in Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Pakistani government has repeatedly alleged the involvement of Afghanistani Taliban members in these suicide attacks, providing evidence to support their claims.

The Pakistani government has consistently urged the Taliban to address the issue of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, which operates from within Afghanistan and plans attacks. However, the Taliban has previously stated that they would only take action against the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan if the Pakistani government officially recognized their regime.
