RASC News Agency: Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the National Resistance Front, recently underscored the imperative of military resistance against the Taliban group during the third Vienna meeting held in Austria. Massoud categorically stated that the Afghanistani people have been compelled to resort to armed conflict against the Taliban, emphasizing that resistance against the violent actions of the Taliban should be regarded as a matter of utmost importance and sacredness.
Prior to this, Mr. Massoud commented on the convening of the meeting of the Taliban’s opponents in Vienna, expressing that such gatherings have raised concerns among high-ranking officials of this group. He urged the opponents of the Taliban to unite and stand against the group.
The third meeting of the Taliban’s opponents commenced in Vienna on Sunday, December 3rd, featuring the participation of numerous Afghanistani political, civil, and social activists. The event is expected to conclude today, encompassing consultations and speeches from these officials. It is noteworthy that the Taliban officials had previously declared this meeting illegal, warning of potential threats and emphasizing the ongoing presence of the enemy.
Ahmad Massoud leads the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, an armed resistance group that frequently conducts attacks on Taliban bases and forces across various provinces of the country. The front operates independently and does not seek permission from any external entity to engage in combat against the Taliban.
