RASC News Agency: The local officials of the Taliban group in Badghis have announced that they have distributed organic seed and chemical fertilizer to farmers in different districts of the province. The aid was provided by the Institute of Future Generations of Afghanistan (FGA) and was distributed in Qads, Moqor, and the center of the province. The Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock of the Taliban group in Badghis stated that a total of 2,650 farmers have been helped.
According to the directorate, the aid was distributed to 1,000 farmers in Qala-e-Now city, 900 farmers in Qads district, and 750 farmers in Moqor district. Each farmer received a 50 kg bag of wheat, 50 kg of black chemical fertilizer, and 50 kg of organic seeds. This aid comes at a time when the country is facing a severe drought, which has caused significant losses to landowners and farmers, resulting in decreased yields.
It is worth noting that many Afghanistani citizens are engaged in agricultural and horticultural work, and this aid will help them meet their daily needs. However, the level of poverty and unemployment in the country has reached its peak during the two years of Taliban rule, causing many concerns among the citizens. Despite this, the aid provided by the FGA and the local officials of the Taliban group in Badghis will undoubtedly help alleviate the suffering of the farmers in the province.
Since the Taliban’s rise to power in Afghanistan, its citizens have been struggling with extreme poverty and hunger. They are constantly appealing to foreign nations and international organizations for more humanitarian aid to help them overcome their difficulties.
