RASC News Agency: Local officials of the Taliban group in Nangarhar province have recently reported the arrest of two individuals on charges of murdering a 28-year-old man and a 19-year-old girl in this province. According to a message released by the Taliban’s media office on Monday, November 27, on the X social media platform, these two individuals were detained in connection with the murder of a 28-year-old man and a 19-year-old girl who were allegedly killed due to illicit relationships. Based on the information, the arrested individuals in Nangarhar province are referred to the judiciary and legal authorities of the Taliban group for further investigation.

It is noteworthy that in recent times, the rate of criminal activities, especially mysterious and targeted killings, has significantly increased in various provinces of the country, with daily reports of murders from different parts of the nation. In the latest incidents of mysterious and targeted killings in various provinces of the country, two Shia religious scholars in Herat province were shot by unidentified gunmen in the Jabraeel district of the province. Moreover, it is worth mentioning that in many cases, individuals associated with the Taliban group, under various pretexts, carry out killings in different provinces of the country, portraying them as mysterious killings committed by unidentified individuals.

Furthermore, according to previous statements by sources, Taliban members in Balkh stoned a woman under the pretext of moral corruption in front of children and her husband and then subjected her to gunfire. This occurs at a time when, following the Taliban’s takeover of the country, due to the absence of regular judicial and legal institutions to handle murder cases, culprits have often managed to escape justice in most incidents.
