RASC News Agency: The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) has reconstructed the vocational high school of agriculture in Zinda Jan district of Herat province in Afghanistan. This was done in response to the recent earthquake that hit the province, causing significant damage to the school and other infrastructure. TIKA has also provided educational materials to the school, including necessary equipment for the students.

According to a report by the Anatolia news agency of Turkey, TIKA has significantly contributed to the reconstruction of the Zinda Jan High School of Agriculture. The organization has drilled a water well, installed a solar system for electricity supply, built an agricultural garden and irrigation system, repaired the wall of the area, and established a library. These contributions are aimed at improving the quality of education and the learning environment for students.

The recent earthquake in Herat province has caused significant damage to the region, including schools, hospitals, and historical monuments. TIKA’s contribution to the reconstruction of the Zinda Jan High School of Agriculture is a testament to the organization’s commitment to supporting the people of Afghanistan during difficult times. Despite the challenges posed by the Taliban’s takeover of the country, TIKA has continued to provide aid and support to the Afghanistani people, demonstrating the importance of international cooperation and coordination in times of crisis.

On October 7th, Herat province was hit by a devastating earthquake, resulting in significant destruction and loss of life among its citizens. In response to this incident, both national and international organizations, as well as foreign countries, provided donations to support the province. However, amidst the relief efforts, there were allegations made by locals accusing the Taliban group of misappropriating the aid intended for distribution.
