RASC News Agency: The recent reports of an explosion and casualties within the Taliban group have prompted the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan to claim responsibility for the attack. In a bulletin published on Sunday, November 26th, the front announced that their forces had targeted a Ranger-type military vehicle associated with the Taliban group using a mine during an operation in the city of Taluqan, Takhar. This operation resulted in the death of three members of the Taliban group.
It is noteworthy that the attacks by the Afghanistan Freedom Front and the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan have seen an escalation in recent days, focusing on the bases and forces of the Taliban group in various provinces of the country. In addition to the National Resistance Front, several other factions persistently conduct attacks against the Taliban group within the country, leading to casualties and fatalities among Taliban members.
Furthermore, the Afghanistan Freedom Front previously declared that on Friday, November 24th, at 5 o’clock in the evening, they ambushed a Taliban group commander named Huzifa on the road between Khawaja Ghar in Takhar province and Dasht-e-Archi in Kunduz province. The attack was executed in a targeted and pre-planned manner, resulting in the death of Huzifa and severe injuries to his bodyguard. The Freedom Front forces also confiscated three weapons, including an AKM47 rifle, an American M4 rifle, and a Brita light pistol, during this operation.
