Since 2020, Ireland’s humanitarian aid to Afghanistan’s humanitarian aid fund has reached a total of 6.5 million euros. Despite the influx of aid and the efforts to address the crises and challenges in Afghanistan, the need for humanitarian assistance in the country remains high. OCHA emphasized the importance of continued support to meet the urgent needs of the Afghanistani people.

According to reports, more than 300,000 Afghanistani immigrants have been forcibly expelled from Pakistan since November 1, with the process ongoing. This mass deportation during the cold winter season has raised concerns among the United Nations. Earlier, the UN had urged Pakistan to halt the forced deportation of Afghanistani migrants during this harsh period. The situation highlights the urgent need for continued humanitarian aid and support for Afghanistani citizens.
