RASC News Agency: According to several civil activists in Bamiyan province, the spokesperson for the Taliban governor has collaborated with a media outlet posing as a journalist, disseminating news that deviates significantly from reality. These concerned civil activists from Bamiyan assert that Abdul Saboor Saighani, the spokesperson for the Taliban governor in Bamiyan, has been collaborating with the “Ava Afghanistan’s voice” news agency as a provincial reporter for several months. he has been transmitting news that not only contradicts reality but also serves the interests of the Taliban group.

Furthermore, they claim that Abdul Ghafoor, who is reportedly the brother of Abdul Saboor Sighani, is employed at the central office of the “Ava” news agency. both siblings are violating the rights of Bamiyan’s citizens and working against the principles of responsible journalism by disseminating false information. Moreover, additional citizens and writers from Bamiyan have come forward to verify these claims. They have stated that the news published by the Ava news agency regarding the province is biased and deviates from the fundamental principles of journalism.

In light of these concerning developments, Bamiyan’s citizens have called for legal action by media support institutions to address the violation of media consumers’ rights through this news agency. They firmly believe that information and news should be shared with citizens in alignment with the prevailing realities of society.

It is important to note that the Taliban group, following their seizure of power, has imposed increasingly restrictive measures on the operations and activities of media outlets in various provinces. Multiple reports indicate that media organizations, women, and former government officials have been disproportionately affected by the oppressive policies implemented by the Taliban group.
