RASC News Agency: The United Nations Population Fund has provided financial assistance for the construction of 10 health centers in Farah province, as announced by local Taliban officials. These health centers were inaugurated in a ceremony held in the center of Farah province on Tuesday, November 14th, and are now fully operational. The head of public health for the Taliban group in Farah, Mawlawi Ehsanullah Shakir, stated that the cost of building these centers was 30 million Kabuli rupees, which includes all the necessary medical equipment.
Officials from the Taliban group and a representative from the United Nations Population Fund attended the opening ceremony of these health centers. Mr. Shakir expressed his satisfaction with the opening of these centers, stating that they will help to address the challenges in the health sector in Farah province. He further added that these health centers were built in areas that lacked access to healthcare services, and they will aid in solving the numerous obstacles faced by families living in remote areas.
