RASC News Agency: The US special representative, Rina Amiri, has called for immediate action and thorough investigations to ensure that the perpetrators responsible for the recent terrorist attacks on the Hazaras in Afghanistan are held accountable. In a social media message, Amiri emphasized the importance of not leaving the Hazaras alone in the face of such acts of terrorism. She described the attacks as “barbaric” and expressed her deep sorrow over yet another attack on the Hazaras in Afghanistan this month.

One of the attacks occurred on Tuesday, November 7th, when an explosion targeted a city bus carrying civilians in the Mahtab Qala area of Dasht Barchi. This area is predominantly inhabited by Hazaras and Shias. As a result of this attack, more than 40 people lost their lives or sustained injuries. Additionally, just two weeks prior to this incident, an explosion took place inside a sports club in the same area, resulting in the deaths of nearly ten individuals and leaving more than ten others injured.

The responsibility for these terrorist attacks targeting Hazaras has been claimed by the Khorasan branch of ISIS. The group asserted through a message on the “AHMAQ” website that they specifically targeted the Shia gathering with these attacks. It is important to note that although the Taliban group has consistently denied the presence and activities of terrorist groups in Afghanistan since assuming control of the country, these recent events unequivocally demonstrate the active presence of such terrorist groups.
