This incident is just one in a series of killings that have unfolded across various provinces of the country. The victim, arrested by the Taliban for motives unknown, was held captive in Kandahar’s 14th security area. Sources reveal that in an attempt to establish his innocence, the victim made inadvertent physical contact with one of the group’s members’ weapon. In response, the group callously unleashed a fatal shot, causing the victim’s demise.
Over the past days, numerous reports have emerged documenting the arrest and execution of individuals by the Taliban, primarily concentrated in provinces like Panjshir. A recent example of such brutality transpired in Kabul province, where four Panjshiri youths were ruthlessly gunned down by the Taliban.
