RASC News Agency: Taliban officials in Kandahar province have reported that a violent altercation between two individuals in Ghorak district resulted in the death of one person. The incident occurred in the Chenarak area of the district and involved gunshots. The Taliban group’s police in Kandahar province have added that the deceased person’s name was Jan Agha, and the person accused of killing him has been arrested by the group’s police and is under investigation. However, the officials have not provided any further details about the cause of the conflict.

It is worth noting that disputes over land have led to conflicts between families and landowners in several provinces of the country, resulting in casualties. Despite the Taliban’s campaign to collect weapons from Afghanistani citizens, there are still reports of mysterious murders and shootings in some provinces. The lack of follow-up by legal and judicial institutions and the authorities’ failure to pay adequate attention to criminal incidents have contributed to the increase in the number of such incidents in the country.

Furthermore, the incident in Ghorak district is a reminder of the ongoing violence and instability in Afghanistan. The Taliban’s efforts to establish control over the country have been met with resistance from various groups, resulting in clashes and casualties. The situation remains precarious, and it is unclear how the Taliban will address the challenges facing the country.

Moreover, the killings of Afghanistani citizens, which include former government soldiers and women participating in protests, are deeply unsettling as they remain unresolved, leaving the perpetrators unidentified. This lack of clarity adds to the gravity of the situation. Furthermore, the Taliban’s actions of imprisoning and detaining individuals associated with the National Resistant Front and other groups who oppose their authority within the country only exacerbate these concerns.
