A total of nine teachers, all affiliated with a boys’ school situated in Shirin Tagab district, fell prey to an act of poisoning. The malevolent act occurred within the premises of the school, specifically at “Baloch” village in Shirin Tagab district. According to reliable sources, the unsuspecting victims were subjected to the poisonous spray unleashed by unidentified culprits. Immediate medical attention was sought by the locals, who aided in transferring the afflicted teachers to the nearest hospital. The condition of the poisoned individuals remains unchanged at present.
The Taliban security command in Faryab has not only acknowledged this incident but has also taken swift action by apprehending a suspect linked to this egregious offense. As of now, the individual is presently undergoing extensive interrogation. It is disheartening to recall that this incident follows the poisoning of 70 students and four teachers in two schools situated in the Sancharak district of Sarpol province just four months ago.
