RASC News Agency: The Chinese Embassy in Kabul has announced its intention to donate 30 million yuan, equivalent to 4.1 million dollars, to Afghanistan. Via a social media platform, the embassy conveyed this message, stating that the funds have been designated as emergency humanitarian aid for the people of Afghanistan. Additionally, the Red Crescent Society of Afghanistan has contributed $200,000 in cash and 500,000 yuan worth of supplies to support the country.

Following the recent devastating earthquakes that struck Herat province, resulting in significant loss of life and destruction of property, various countries worldwide have pledged to provide assistance to the affected communities.

In addition to the European Union and the United Arab Emirates, several other nations have announced their monetary and material contributions to aid the victims of the recent earthquake. Notably, concerns were previously expressed by the United Nations regarding insufficient funds available to provide necessary treatment for those impacted by the earthquake in Herat province, located in western Afghanistan.

Moreover, the earthquake that occurred last week in the Zindajan and Karukh districts of Herat province resulted not only in loss of lives but also in the complete destruction of numerous villages, rendering a significant portion of the population homeless.

Based on reports, many residents of Herat have sought refuge in open areas and are currently residing in tents due to ongoing fears of aftershocks. However, some individuals from Herat province have accused Taliban officials of negligence in their rescue efforts to save those trapped under the debris.
