RASC News Agency: According to local sources in Bamyan, a group of armed Kochis have been threatening school teachers and students and claiming to own the school property.

Residents of villages in the city of waras, in the province of Bamyan, have taken to the streets to protest the presence of armed Kochis in the school, including the threat of violence against teachers and students, and the destruction of trees.

The sources said that these people cut down the trees of this school on Sunday night, October 1.

Local people have accused the Taliban group of supporting armed nomads.

One of the protestors in today’s gathering said that the armed men of the Kochis threatened the people and said: “The history of the Hazara people is over.”

According to the residents of Sarab Waras, the Kochis entered the area from Logar Province with the help of the local Taliban authorities in the province of Bamyan and Waras. However, the local authorities did not respond to the residents’ request to solve the problem.

It is worth noting that after the advent of the Taliban in 1400 in Afghanistan, there were clashes between armed Kochis and villagers in Hazara regions. However, the Taliban did not respond to popular protests.

Central provinces people and Kochis struggle in not a new phenomenon, they are fighting from years ago, the main problem is that, the Kochi people every year enter in to the Hazara people villages and lands with their animals. On the other hand, by the rule of the Taliban group in the country, Kochi people supported directly by Taliban group and increased their cruel system.
