Protesting Women: The World Should Put Pressure on the Taliban for the Release of Zhulia Parsi and Nida Parwani

RASC News Agency: The members of the movement of powerful women of Afghanistan have recently called on the international community to put pressure on the Taliban to release Zhulia Parsi, who was detained by the group, and Nida Parwani, who was also detained.

At a closed-door meeting, the women said Zhulia Parsi “is not a criminal” and that the Taliban “has no right to keep her in jail with her family.”

The members of “Movement of Powerful Women of Afghanistan” have told the people of Afghanistan that how long will you remain silent. Let us stand with the protesting women and start a national uprising.

However, before this, the United Nations, Richard Bennett and Rina Amiri had demanded the release of these two protesting women; But the Taliban group has not commented on this so far.

In the wake of their arrest, the Taliban group detained Zhulia Parsi and her eldest son, while Nida Parwani and her husband and child were taken into prison.

Since the advent of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan, protests by women and girls have been repeatedly detained, imprisoned, mutilated and even killed.

It is mention able that the Taliban arrested and imprisoned women protester from two years ago, after their rule in the country. This action of the Taliban group faced with national and international reactions but they did not pay any attention.

Girls and women faced many restriction during this group domination in the country, the gates of the schools and universities banned as well.
