Some Taliban Fighters Burn Leader’s Command Directive

RASC News Agency: Some Taliban fighters ignited purification forums in compliance with the directive of their leader, Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada. Video footage circulated on social media today, Wednesday, Apr 3, depicting certain fighters criticizing the purging process within their group and setting fire to the forums they convened.

These fighters allege that the authorities within their group ridicule them through these forums. One of the fighters in the video declares, “I don’t want this forum at all. They basically ask us why we’re still alive, why we haven’t been killed.” Previously, the Taliban group in Panjshir province also disclosed the expulsion of non-native fighters, where each member had to receive approval from a Taliban fighter with twenty years of experience; otherwise, they would face expulsion.

It is noteworthy that during the republican era, the Taliban group had infiltrated its members into the security and defense forces of Afghanistan, with reports of base surrenders and killings of security forces by these infiltrators documented in the media. Therefore, based on their past experiences, this group is striving to segregate distrustful individuals from their ranks.
