RASC News Agency: The Acting Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban group said in a public meeting in Badakhshan province that the distance between universities and religious schools has been removed.

The head of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Taliban group added that there were imaginary students in the educational institutions of the previous government, and the children of some government officials obtained academic certificates without being present in the class.

Nida Mohammad Nadim, Acting Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban group, added: “Many students were like this in the universities where attendance was signed here. They were in London, America, Dubai and other places. The children of these officials were registered as students in the medical, agriculture or economics faculties, he would appear once or twice a year, finally he would graduate with the name of engineer and doctor after four years.

The Acting Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban group also added that there was a gap between universities and religious schools in the past, but now this gap has been removed.

While this official of the Taliban group talks about erasing the distance between universities and religious schools, a number of reports indicate that in the country’s universities, after the Taliban took over, the curriculum has been mixed with extremist topics and they are trying to spread their own mentality and thoughts among people are especially young people.

At the same time, a number of sources from different provinces of the country claimed that the Taliban group is teaching students to commit suicide attacks in universities instead of teaching modern sciences.
