RASC News Agency: The international “Henri Le Fantin” award, which is given to people active in the field of protecting and defending human rights, women’s rights, peace and social equality and other human issues, was given to Afghanistani journalist Liloma Sadid.

This Afghanistnai woman wrote on her X social media yesterday, September 25 that she managed to get this international award due to the defense of human and women’s rights.

This award was given during a ceremony that was held in Brussels mayoralty with the presence of dozens of political figures and members of parliament and various Belgian parties.

The International Henri Le Fantin Prize is dedicated to people who have worked and influenced in the field of humanity and human rights in memory of Henri Le Fantin, the outstanding pacifist of the 20th century.

Lailoma Sadid has a history of working as a diplomat in the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Belgium. Before this position, she was a political reporter in various media covering important world events.

It should be noted that the ability and performance of Afghanistani women abroad is appreciated while women and girls in Afghanistan under the control of the Taliban group are deprived of their most basic human rights, which include the right to work, free movement and education.

It should be noted that by restricting the lives of women, the Taliban have removed them from the society and turned them into house prisoners.
