RASC News Agency: Heather Barr, the head of Human Rights Watch supported the pressure to change the policies of the Taliban group against women and said that the Taliban group has started a war against women in Afghanistan.

Barr made these statements last Thursday, September 28, in response to the words of the Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban group about banning the education of girls on her X social media.

Nida Mohammad Nadim, the Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban group, had previously said that the requests to lift the ban on women’s education in Afghanistan is a western propaganda war.

Regarding the statements of this Taliban official, she added: “Currently, the only war that is going on is the Taliban’s war against the lives of Afghanistani women and girls.”

Meanwhile, Nida Mohammad Nadim, the Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban group, said in his latest statement: “We want to train Islamic personalities who are ready to make any kind of sacrifice for Islamic values.”

It should be noted that the Taliban group has banned girls above the sixth grade from going to school, taken away their right to education, and banned them from working in government and international offices since retaking control of Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the countries of the world have repeatedly called for the reopening of girls’ schools in Afghanistan and said that the Taliban group should not take away the right to education from Afghanistani girls and women.
