In a statement of this party that was published on the evening of Sunday September 24, it is stated that the “systematic and targeted” killing of Hazara residents of Uruzgan Khas district, Uruzgan province is the continuation of the genocide of Hazaras in Afghanistan.

According to Wahdat Political Party, since the reintroduction of the Taliban group in country, unknown gunmen have killed 17 people in Uruzgan Khas in a “systematic and targeted” manner, and in the last case, a father and son were beheaded while crossing a Pashtun-inhabited area on Wednesday last week. .
In a statement of this party, quoting local residents, it was said that the Taliban group was informed about the occurrence of all the incidents and tragedies, but despite the assurance of investigating and following up the perpetrators of this incident and preventing similar incidents, so far no action has been taken to prosecute the perpetrators and ensure the safety of the people.
In addition, Wahdat party said: “In fact, what is happening in Uruzgan is the continuation of the genocide of the Hazaras in Afghanistan, which has been going on since the distant past and continues today under the rule of the Taliban.”
Wahdat party added in its announcement that the Taliban group, as the ruling administration, was responsible for these “human disasters” and should be held accountable to the people of Afghanistan.
This party condemned the targeted killing in Khas Uruzgan and asked the countries and human rights organizations, especially the United Nations, to take urgent measures to prevent such incidents from happening.
