RASC News Agency: Sources inform the death of Mohammad Sadiq Usian, a writer, poet, university professor and one of the Afghanistani cultural figures, due to illness in Germany.
Mr. Usian, who was 52 years old, has long-lasting and sustainable activities and records in various cultural, social and academic fields.
In 1375, he obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Persian Language and Literature, Balkh University, and a master’s degree from the University of Tajikistan in 1390.
Mr. Usian worked as a professor at the Faculty of Persian Language and Literature at Balkh University from 2001 until the fall of the republican system and the Taliban regained control over Afghanistan.
Five published poetry works left from him.
Mohammad Sadiq Usian was one of the famous figures of Afghanistan literature who, in addition to cultural and social activities; also has effective civil and media records.
After the Taliban came to power; Mr. Usian, like many other intellectuals and writers, left Afghanistan and became a refugee in Germany.
After several months of illness, he finally passed away last night, Saturday September 23, in one of the hospitals in Germany.
Mr. Usian has four children.
