RASC news agency: According to local sources from Takhar province, the intelligence of the Taliban group in this province has arrested a former government soldier.

Sources told the media on Thursday, September 21 that the Taliban group arrested this former soldier, whose name is Jamal Akbar Bikzad, yesterday during a house-to-house inspection from Khatayan village in Taleqan city.

According to the intelligence sources of the Taliban group, Jamal Akbar Bikzad, who was on duty at the Kabul Airport during the previous government, was arrested and taken away from his home.

The reason for Bikzad’s arrest by the intelligence of the Taliban group has not been clarified yet.

According to the sources, the Taliban group gathered all the residents of Khatayan village in Taleqan city and investigated each of them separately.

This is despite the fact that the Taliban group after regaining control of the country, despite the announcement of a general amnesty by the leader of this group, has continued to arrest, torture and kill the soldiers of the previous government.

Meanwhile, in the latest case a few days ago, a former government soldier was first tortured and then stabbed to death in Kandahar province.

It should be noted that the United Nations Deputy Mission (UNAMA) said in a report yesterday that it has recorded more than 1,000 cases of human rights violations by the Taliban group.

At the same time, reports from different parts of the country also say that this group is trying to identify the soldiers of the previous government and from time to time, they arrest them and ask them for weapons.
