RASC News Agency: According to recent reports, the Taliban group has detained a school headmaster and another individual for unknown reasons almost a month ago in Paktika Province.
Sources in the province confirmed on Wednesday, October 4th, that an intelligence officer belonging to the Taliban had arrested Mohammad Nabi, a former headmaster of a government school in Qorbuddin village located in the Yahya khil district of the province, 25 days earlier.
The sources further added that the Taliban’s intelligence unit had arrested another resident of the same village named Yar Gul about 10 days ago, and he is currently in their custody in the Yahya Khil district.
Sources indicate that elder members of the tribe made multiple attempts to inquire about the arrest of the two men to the Taliban group. However, the group refused to answer any questions and denied the elders access to the detainees. Family members of Mohammad Nabi and Yar Gul express concern over the fate of their loved ones.
It is crucial to note that the Taliban regime in Afghanistan has a history of consistently detaining, torturing, and even executing individuals from different provinces of the country.
