RASC News Agency: Deputy Minister of Publications of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Taliban group has announced that they have developed a procedure for the activities of YouTubers in the country.

According to the report of the Bakhtar News Agency, which operates under the administration of the Taliban group and quoted by Hayatullah Mohajer, the reason for preparing this procedure is the increase in the number of YouTubers.

Mr. Mohajer has not provided more details regarding the content of this procedure.

This is despite the fact that some time ago there were concerns that the activities of YouTubers may be restricted by the Taliban group.

It should be mentioned that after the Taliban group came to power in the country, this group tried to limit the activities of free media; this led to a large number of young people going to YouTube social media to broadcast media content.

Mr. Mohajer added that the reason for young people to come to this social media is to generate income through video broadcasting from this media.

It should be noted that the Taliban group has arrested and imprisoned YouTubers for various reasons in the last two years.

Mr. Mohajer added that this group has no problem with publishing content that is not against its Islamic values, but it has not provided a definition of Islamic values.

However, the group has a strict interpretation of “Islamic values” and, in accordance with its reading of these values, has banned many media programs, including music broadcasts and family series.

It should be noted that in the last two years, the officials of the Taliban group have repeatedly emphasized that the media should adjust their activities according to the policies of the Taliban.

With the dominance of this group in the country, a large number of media stopped working for various reasons.
