RASC News Agency: Reliable sources from Baghlan province confirm that the Taliban group plans to move the center of this province from Pul-e- Khumri city to central Baghlan.
Sources told RASC news agency on Saturday September 16 that the Taliban group wants to move the center of this province to a place where Pashtuns live.
According to the sources, this program is promoted by Qari Nisar Ahmed Nusrat, the governor of Kunduz province.
According to sources, the officials of the Taliban group in Baghlan province held a meeting a few days ago in the city of Pul-e- Khumri to transfer the center from Pul-e- Khumri to central Baghlan.
The sources added that the Taliban group threatened people who were against this decision.
It should be noted that the Pul-e-Khomri, the center of Baghlan province, is located at the intersection of the new road between Mazar-i-Sharif, Kunduz and Kabul.
The industrial appearance of this city has been preserved and it has textile, cement and coal factories.
In addition, a large part of the Pul-e- Khumri belongs to the factory houses.
There are many villages around Pol-e- Khumri city such as Dand Ghori, Azizan Baba, Cheshma Chengan, Bazar Dahna, etc.
Pol-e- Khumri, which is currently the center of Baghlan province, is one of the first-class areas of this province and is considered one of the most populated district of Baghlan province.
It should be noted that with this decision of the Taliban group, the process of social and economic growth of the citizens of Pul-e- Khumri has been challenged and all the activities that are carried out for the development of this province will face stagnation due to Talibanization.
