RASC News Agency: Michael McCaul asserts that the assault on Moscow was carried out by ISIS, an organization that typically originates from Afghanistan. The Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee of the United States Congress, in reference to the Moscow attack, has expressed concern about the increasing operational capabilities of the ISIS group outside Afghanistan.
International media reported today, Mar 25, that Michael McCaul, during a television interview with CBS, cautioned that ISIS poses a threat to Europe and America. Mr. McCaul, citing the statements of the CENTCOM commander, stated: “Within six months, ISIS will have the capability to operate outside Afghanistan.” This revelation comes just six days after the Moscow incident, raising alarm among American and European policymakers.
It has been reported that earlier, General Kenneth McKenzie and the CENTCOM commander had declared that the Taliban had provided refuge to groups in Afghanistan seeking to launch attacks against American interests worldwide. These declarations by American officials coincide with a rise in terrorist attacks against Pakistan due to the Taliban’s dominance, alongside ISIS’s success in two major attacks in Iran and Russia.
It is noteworthy that the Foreign Policy newspaper recently disclosed the presence of terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda, ISIS, and the Pakistani Taliban movement in Afghanistan, where Taliban officials are distributing Afghanistan’s gold resources among the leaders of these groups, providing them with housing, spouses, and weapons.
