RASC News Agency: Local sources in Nuristan Province report that an armed clash between two tribes has resulted in the deaths of eight people, including two Taliban members. On Wednesday, May 29th, sources informed the media that the confrontation occurred the previous afternoon between residents of the “Kigel” and “Arnes” areas in the Want Waigal District.

According to the sources, the conflict erupted over grazing land ownership, leading to several injuries, though the exact number remains unclear. The Taliban have yet to comment on the incident. Disputes over land and grazing rights frequently result in casualties across various provinces in the country.

In a similar incident on April 21st of this year, a clash between the Taliban and local residents over grazing land in Badakhshan Province resulted in at least 15 injuries.
