RASC News Agency: Following the Taliban group’s restrictions on the work of Afghanistani women, the World Food Program has announced that with this order of the Taliban group, Afghanistani women were marginalized from social life and work more than ever before.

The World Food Program, which is one of the organizations related to the United Nations, wrote in an announcement on its X page yesterday, on September 9, that the restrictions imposed on women’s work by the Taliban group have led to the marginalization of this group from social life and work. Women’s opportunities to work and support their children limited under the regime of this group.

Meanwhile, the World Food Program had previously said in another announcement that food aid has been reduced, especially to prevent malnutrition for one million Afghanistani women and children.

After the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan, in the past two years, severe restrictions have been imposed on girls and women in the fields of education and work, leaving home and participation in social affairs.

The group’s performance against women’s work has brought national and international reactions.

UNAMA expressed concern about the ban on Afghanistani women and reminded the Taliban that UN agencies cannot operate without female employees and provide vital assistance.

Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, strongly condemned the ban on women working in the offices of this organization and said that if this action is not reversed, the ability of the United Nations to deliver vital aid to people who need it will be weakened.
