RASC News Agency: The Children’s Protection Organization has announced that the international community should not turn its back on the Afghanistani people in the current situation.
Arshad Malek, the head of this organization in Afghanistan, said in a newsletter yesterday, September 6 that Afghanistan is currently experiencing a drought for the third consecutive year, which has made it difficult for people to access food and water.
In the continuation of the newsletter of this institution, it is stated that Afghanistani families, especially children, are the main victims and vulnerable of successive droughts in Afghanistan.
According to the statement of the Children’s Protection Organization and according to the survey conducted by this organization in several provinces of Afghanistan, 67% of children have reported a significant decrease in their food compared to previous years.
This organization also asked the international community to make a practical commitment to support the people of Afghanistan at next week’s meeting in Brussels, which will focus on the situation in Afghanistan.
Children in Afghanistan are one of the most vulnerable sections of the society, who from time to time suffer from the fate of the times and insecurity.
It should be noted that with the domination of the Taliban group in the country and as a result of twenty years of war and unrest arising from this problem, the human situation has worsened in the country.
At the same time, many international aid organizations have warned against cutting off aid due to budget cuts and the increase in needy people in Afghanistan under the control of the Taliban group.
Not long ago, the World Food Program announced the removal of two million needy people from its aid program in Afghanistan.
