RASC News Agency: The interim prime minister of Pakistan has said that the weapons left by the United States of America in Afghanistan are being used against Pakistan, China, Iran and other countries in the region.

Anwar Haq Kakar said: “We thought that with the Taliban’s dominance in Afghanistan, the situation in Pakistan would be a little better; but it got worse.”

Anwar Haq Kakar, the acting Prime Minister of Pakistan, said in an interview with Geonews that the new and advanced American equipment in Afghanistan could be dangerous for the countries of the region.

Kaker added: “The modern and advanced weapons of America, which remained after the withdrawal of this country’s forces in Afghanistan; “It is a big threat not only to Pakistan but also to the region.”

According to him, this equipment will threaten China, Central Asia and Iran in the future and may cause a great disturbance in the region.

He said that the hasty withdrawal of American military forces from Afghanistan caused the weapons of the previous government and American forces to “fall into the hands of other armed groups” except the Taliban group.

According to a report by the United States Department of Defense, from 2005 to August 2021, the United States provided $18.6 billion worth of military equipment to the former Afghanistan army and security forces.

According to the report, after the withdrawal of American military forces from Afghanistan, equipment worth 7.12 billion dollars remained in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Institute of Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS) told the country’s media that terrorist attacks in August in this country increased by 83 percent compared to the previous month.
