RASC News Agency: Local sources in Takhar province confirmed that a ceremony for the mass marriage of 15 young couples who could not get married due to economic problems was held in Taleqan, the center of Takhar province.
According to the sources, this happiness program was launched by the Omid Hayat charity foundation in one of the hotels of Taleqan city with the presence of the families of these young people.
Haji Mohammad Ebrahim, the head of the Omid Hayat charity foundation, stated that the purpose of this work is to support the needy, poor and needy youth and emphasized that this is a logical and good act in the society.
He says that in this program, the young people who were really in need and did not have the financial ability to get married, had a wedding party and celebrated their marriage.
According to Haji Ebrahim, with this work, on the one hand, families who have economic problems will be helped and cooperated, and on the other hand, unpleasant social beliefs will disappear and people will be relieved.
The head of the Omid Hayat charity foundation continued that all the financial expenses of this ceremony were paid by this foundation and for the youth who are involved in this process, financial assistance is given to a certain extent.
However, a number of young people who have happy tears in their eyes from the joy of their marriage ceremony, have said that they were unmarried for many years and were not able to organize their wedding.
These young people, who are in different parts of Takhar province, are grateful for this work and say that employment should be provided for the youth of Afghanistan, because the only concern of this group is the lack of work.
It should be mentioned that social cultures and beliefs and the lack of permanent and stable employment are among the most fundamental factors that prevent young Afghanistani from holding their marriage or betrothal ceremony.
