RASC News Agency: Reports indicate that a tragic traffic accident in Maidan Shahr, the capital of Maidan Wardak province, has resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left three others injured. Sources reveal that the incident occurred around 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 14, when a Corolla taxi veered off the road. The accident took place near the Agriculture High School area in Maidan Shahr, along the Kabul-Kandahar highway.

According to sources, the accident was caused by driver negligence, leading to the crash. The injured individuals were promptly transported to the provincial hospital in Maidan Wardak for treatment. Local Taliban authorities in Maidan Wardak have yet to comment on the incident.

It is noteworthy that similar accidents have previously occurred on the Kabul-Kandahar highway, resulting in numerous fatalities. Just this week, several fatal traffic accidents were reported in the provinces of Baghlan and Badakhshan.
