RASC News Agency: The National Examinations Department under the control of the Taliban announced that the examination of general medical students of public and private universities will be held without the presence of girls.

According to the information released by the Ministry of Higher Education of the Taliban group today, Saturday, September 2, more than 3,300 people participated in the medical council exam and 600 people participated in the public health master’s program exam.

Meanwhile, the Taliban group has not said anything about participation or non-participation of female students in this exam, but according to sources, this group has prevented girls from participating in this exam for the second year.

Meanwhile, hundreds of female medical graduates in Afghanistan want to hold this exam.

This is despite the fact that the Taliban group imposed many restrictions against citizens, especially women, since they took control of the country; this group blocked the gates of schools for girls above the sixth grade and forbade girls from going to university.

It should be noted that the imposition of these restrictions by the Taliban group has faced national and international reactions, but none of them have had the desired result.

Taliban after their domination in the country, they closed the schools and universities gates and prohibited them from learning knowledge and education.

These restrictions of the Taliban group faced many national and international interactions. Nevertheless, the Taliban group did not want to show flexibility to their decisions, by continuing their restrictions on the women and girls in the country.

Rina Amiri, the US special representative for women, girls and human rights for Afghanistan, in response to this decision, asked the Taliban group to prioritize the country and people of Afghanistan over their ideology.

She added: “We support the request of Afghanistani girls to be allowed to participate in the Kankor exam. Their success will be the success of Afghanistan and it will lead to providing alimony, improving the economy and the future. The Taliban group should prioritize the country and the people over their ideology.
