RASC News Agency: Local sources in Parwan province report the killing of a 20-year-old girl in this province.

Sources say that this girl committed suicide in the evening of Sunday, September 17 in the village of “Qol Khol” of Siahgerd district of this province.

According to the sources, this girl ended her life with a gunshot.

However, the exact motive of this young girl’s suicide is not known yet; but the sources mention family violence as the cause of this event.

The local officials of the Taliban in Parwan province have not said anything about this so far.

This is despite the fact that after the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan, suicide incidents among young people, especially girls, have increased in the country.

Before this, public sources in Daikundi province also reported about the suicide of an 18-year-old girl in this province.

Sources said that this girl’s name was “Sharifa” and she lived in “Esho Ghulka” village of “Shaherstan” district of this province.

A source told the media that Sharifa hanged herself and ended her life around ten o’clock on Thursday (September 14).

Those in the know say that the spread of poverty, unemployment, family violence and the imposition of strict restrictions by the Taliban group are among the reasons for the increase in the number of such events.

Taliban after their domination in the country, they closed the schools and universities, in the recently this group banned women and girls beauty parlors. It means that women and girls are imprisoned in their homes and they will get depression and the number of suicide increases among this group.
