RASC News Agency: According to local officials from Baghlan province, six people died and four others were injured in a traffic accident in “Andarab” district of this province.

Abdul Ghayor Khadim, Security Officer of Baghlan Police Command confirmed on Saturday night, August 26 that this incident happened in “Anadrab” district.

According to the officials, this (picnic) car, which was traveling from Kabul to Kunduz, overturned along the highway due to the carelessness of the driver and fell into the river.

It is said that the victims of this incident are all members of the same family.

Non-observance of traffic rules, broken roads, drivers’ lack of familiarity with the roads, carelessness, and lack of traffic signs along the highway are considered to be the main causes of traffic accidents.

According to reports, Traffic incidents have increased significantly in a number of provinces in the north and northeast of the country in the last few months.

In the latest case of a traffic accident in Nijrab district of Kapisa province, one person was killed and two others were injured.

At the same time, drivers say that one of the causes of traffic accidents is the destruction of roads that were mined and blown up by the Taliban group during the war.

They said that the highway of the Northern provinces was severely damaged as a result of the Taliban group’s explosions, and that parts of these destruction by the Taliban group have not been rebuilt yet.

The drivers have said; when the car crosses these highways at high speed, it faces this destruction and the driver loses control of the car and causes an accident.
