RASC News Agency: A number of Afghanistani civil activists in Germany, in a meeting with the UN Special Rapporteur on human rights for Afghanistan, asked this reporter to reflect the voice of Afghanistani women and make it known to the world.

These female activists expressed that the current situation in Afghanistan is not only about Afghanistan and is a global responsibility.

Richard Bennett told the media that the participants of this meeting asked him to reflect the voice of Afghanistani women in an expressive way.

Yesterday, on August 26, Mr. Bennett announced the meeting of Afghanistani civil society members, the majority of whom were women, during a program organized by the European Integration Organization.

In this meeting, these civil activists emphasized, “The current situation in Afghanistan is not an internal issue, but a global concern and responsibility.”

The special rapporteur of the United Nations told the media that the topics discussed in this meeting were international politics, including the approach of Germany and the United Nations towards Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, Mr. Bennett also met German Foreign Minister Analena Berbuk on Thursday, August 24, and talked about the current situation in Afghanistan and support for the people of this country.

According to the German Foreign Ministry, this country has pledged that it will not stop supporting the people of Afghanistan and defending human rights.

This is while the Taliban group has violated human rights, especially the rights of women and girls, after returning to power, the forces of this group have tortured and killed a number of former soldiers and forces affiliated with their opposition group known as the National Resistance Front.

Despite repeated requests to reopen educational centers for the girls of the Taliban group, they have not yet taken action in this regard.
