RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan has said in a message on the occasion of the anniversary of Afghanistan’s independence that the Taliban group’s dominance has called into question the freedom of Afghanistan and a large part of the affairs have fallen into the hands of foreigners.
According to this council, the Taliban group is an “extremist and hand-raised group of foreigners”.
The declaration of these council states: “This year, the anniversary of the restoration of the country’s independence has come at a time when, with the rule of an extremist group of foreigners, our freedom has been questioned once again, and practically a large part of affairs are managed and led by foreigners.”
This Council added that the people of Afghanistan achieved independence on August 19 of 1919 year, after years of striving for freedom, and hoped that a healthy governance would be formed in the shadow of independence. Nevertheless, many factors hindered the preservation of independence and stability.
The National Council of Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan continued to say that with the re-domination of the Taliban group over Afghanistan, this country is occupied by a “triangle of terrorism” which, according to this council, consists of the Afghanistani Taliban, the Pakistani Taliban and Al-Qaeda.
According to this council, the intervention in Afghanistan’s internal affairs, which we are actually witnessing today, is a big mistake of the countries of the region and the world and is considered against the freedom and independence of Afghanistan. This council did not mention a specific country.
Today, August 19 coincides with the 104th anniversary of Afghanistan’s independence, which was announced by Amanullah Khan in 1919.
Every year, this day was widely and colorfully celebrated in the country, but with the domination of the Taliban group over the country and the continuation of culture killings by this group, this day is not celebrated as before.
