RASC News Agency: Local sources from Ghazni province confirm that the Taliban group has issued prison terms for 10 youths who were arrested in the eve of Muharram from different parts of this province.

Sources from Ghazni province told the media on Thursday, August 17, that the Taliban group has sentenced these 10 youths to one to five years in prison.

The sources added that six of these youths were beaten and arrested by the Taliban group on the 7th day of Muharram in the area of Amir Mohammad Khan’s fort in the fifth district, which prevented the group’s forces from lowering the mourning flag.

According to the sources, four more of these 10 youths were arrested on the 10th day of Muharram from Nowabad area in the center of Ghazni.

Based on the sources, the Taliban group has sentenced these people to prison on the charge of creating a disturbance and disturbing the order.

This is while a number of residents of Ghazni called this action of the Taliban group an injustice and emphasized that the Taliban group should first punish their own people who opened fire on the people.

It should be mentioned that with the arrival of Muharram, the Taliban group imposed restrictions on the organizers of this ceremony and during the celebration of this ceremony in a number of provinces, especially Kabul and Ghazni, they beat the mourners and even opened fire on them.

Meanwhile, it is said that during the celebration of the Muharram in Ghazni province, four people were killed and 12 others were injured as a result of the firing by Taliban soldiers.
