RASC News Agency: A number of female students of Kunduz University, who used to live in the dormitory of this university, reacted to Mullah Sirajuddin Ebad’s insulting words and challenged him to a “religious debate”.

These girls called Mullah Ebad’s words, which were circulated on social media, full of “slander” and regretted the indifference of the citizens.

Khalida Danish, one of the former students of the dormitory of Kunduz University, says: “Slandering Muslims and especially clean-cut women who are struggling day and night with great difficulties to acquire knowledge and science, is an unforgivable sin.”

This student continues: “I spent two years with other female students in the dormitory of Kunduz University; despite the poor quality of the food, in the mornings, after prayer, we would recite the Quran together with other members of our guild and attend our lessons at half past seven.”

Shirin Nazari, another student of this dormitory, says: “We follow a religion that commands its followers to seek knowledge, even if it is in China.”

She said: “By which evidence has Mullah Siraj Ebad attacked the reputation and dignity of the girls of Muslims?”

These students say that if their lives and their families are not in danger, they will challenge Mullah Sirajuddin Ebad to a “religious debate”.

They also say that in the presence of the media, if there is any evidence of bad morals of the students of this dormitory, it should be presented; so that the perpetrators are identified and tried; Otherwise, this Mullah should apologize to all people and be tried.

The Kunduz University dormitory was built a few years ago as a standard on two floors in front of the Kunduz State University, where thousands of female students from other provinces of the country stayed.

With the fall of the previous government and the return to power of the Taliban group, the door of this dormitory was closed to students.

Last week, the tape of the words of Mawlawi Sirajuddin Ebad, known as Mufti Siraj, one of the religious Mullahs in Kunduz province, was circulated on social media, in which he said: “In the previous regime of the republic, the girls of the dormitory were taken to obscene clubs at night for dancing, and again in the morning brought back.”

These insulting words provoked the anger of students, families and citizens.

According to university professors and many citizens of Kunduz province, these words are pure lies, defamation of students and good service to the Taliban group.

A person from the province of Kunduz University said: “I am a woman myself and I have obtained a master’s degree abroad. I feel sorry for the people, especially the men, who follow and pray behind the mullahs and muftis of Deobandi.”

Criticizing the youth’s silence and indifference to Mawlawi Siraj’s words, this university professor says: “Why don’t you stand up to restore the rights and dignity of women?”

It should be mentioned that Mawlwi Sirajuddin Ebad Khatib of “Sarhoud Street” mosque located in “Imam Saheb” port of Kunduz province, having a wife, some years ago he married one of the middle-aged girls from whom he received religious education and according to one of his relatives. Mullah Ebad, wanted to marry for the third time months ago, but was rejected by the educated girl.
