RASC News Agency: In continuation of the arrest and torture of citizens by the Taliban group in Bamyan, this group has also arrested a tribal leader in the province.

On the morning of August 9, the sources said that Haji Hassan Shahidani was arrested yesterday on the charge of popular mobilization by the Intelligence Directorate of this group.

This is despite the fact that this group arrested and tortured six residents of Chabadara village “Sadat Valley” last week on the charge of keeping weapons, and it is said that the health condition of one of them is critical.

A government source on the condition of anonymity said: “These people are being detained and tortured based on the conspiracy of Mawlawi Abdul Rauf Rouhani, the deputy director of intelligence of the Taliban group in Bamyan.”

Since three months, the Taliban group in Bamyan has adopted a strict policy, from arbitrary arrests to scrutinizing the personal life and even the privacy of some people.

With all these concerns in Bamiyan, this is the beginning of the scenario for the elimination of Persian-speaking influencers, former government employees, knowledgeable and media activists.

It should be mentioned that the Taliban group has harassed the citizens of Bamiani on various pretexts before.

Similarly, in the offices of this group, there have been reports of widespread corruption and the dismissal of elite people under various pretexts, as if this group wants to transfer their own people to all positions in government institutions, without considering their capacity and merit.

It should be noted that this group is not only in Bamyan province, but in other provinces of the country, they are persecuting Persian-speaking people more.
