RASC News Agency: Local sources in Bamyan province say that three days ago (August 3), the intelligence department of the Taliban group in this province arrested six residents of “Chabdara” village on charges of keeping weapons and tortured them.

According to the sources, the health condition of one of these people is very serious due to excessive torture.

Meanwhile, this situation has greatly worried the residents of Bamyan province, and some of them told RASC news agency: “This is the beginning of a scenario, and maybe all the residents of Bamyan will be affected by the situation of these people.”

Previously, the relatives of Abdul Rahman Shahidani, the former representative of Bamyan province in the Afghanistan House of Representatives, were arrested and tortured by the intelligence of the Taliban group. These people were arrested and tortured to hand over the armored car of this member of parliament to the Taliban.

However, the local officials of Bamyan province, who have always considered themselves the defenders of the people of Bamyan; Calling themselves neutral in such a situation, they have said that such tortures are carried out by the General Directorate of Intelligence of the Taliban group and they have no role in this matter.

On the other hand, an informed source, who did not want to be named, says: “The house attempts and tortures is the work of the local officials of Bamyan; but in order not to spoil the public opinion towards them, they present themselves as neutral, otherwise all the manipulations [fraudulent] are their own work.

This is despite the fact that not only the residents of Bamyan province are complaining about the extra-legal arrests and tortures of the Taliban group, but also in many other provinces, citizens have reported arrests, extra-legal tortures and, in some cases, the killing of civilians by the Taliban group.
