RASC: According to public sources, 17 people have been imprisoned in Nahor district of Ghazni province at the request of a Kochi.
The sources said that the Taliban group arrested and imprisoned 17 residents of this district at the request of a Kochi man.
According to the sources, these people are residents of Sabznala and Wagh villages of Nahor district, and they have been detained by the Taliban group since July 6, and are under torture.
It is said that these people were arrested and tortured by a Kochi person named Niazi.
Niazi claimed that in 2014, about 220 of his sheep went missing in the area between Nahor and Ajristan, and two of his shepherds were killed.
This Kochi demands from the residents of the mentioned villages of Nahor to pay the damages and blood price.
However, a source said that they have received a letter from the court of Ghazni province for the release of these people, but no one dares to take this letter to the governor of Nahor because last year, in a similar incident, the official of the Taliban group had torn the letter and imprisoned the person.
This is despite the fact that conflicts over pastures have been going on for a long time between the residents of Nahor district and the Kochis and have led to armed conflicts from time to time.
It should be noted that with the domination of the Taliban group over the country, the Kochis under the support of this group always harass and usurp the pastures of the natives in different parts of the country.
