The special representatives of the United States have recently met and discussed with the delegation of the Taliban group in Qatar.
Regarding the reason for her presence in these meetings and talks, Rina Amiri said that she participated in the talks at the insistence of “Afghanistan and human rights defenders on the necessity of interaction with the Taliban group”.
These statements of Amiri have brought many reactions, especially from the address of Afghanistani women.
In response to these statements, activists and protesting women in Afghanistan said that Amiri’s statements were false and in this regard, they asked her which human rights defender demanded to interact with the Taliban group?
The coalition of Afghanistani women’s protest movements has said that Rina Amiri has the right to work for the interests of the United States, but “she has no right to use Afghanistani women as a tool.”
