RASC: According to the local officials of the Taliban group in Badakhshan province in the north of Afghanistan, the flooding in a number of districts of this province has caused huge financial losses.
During the last two days, these floods have flooded the districts of Raghistan, Yamgan, Kof Ab, Sheki and Tagab in Badakhshan province.
Hayatullah Mohsen, the governor of the Taliban group in Raghistan Badakhshan district, confirmed that the flood destroyed 10 residential houses in Taj Gul Dareh village of this district.
He said that the flood is currently threatening more than 50 houses in this village.
Mohammad Akram Akbari, the head of the Taliban group in Badakhshan, says that dozens of residential houses, shops, agricultural lands and gardens have been destroyed and a number of livestock have been destroyed due to the rains and floods in some districts of this province.
He added that until now the final statistics of the flooded areas have not been collected and the survey teams are investigating the damages.
He added that after checking the food will be distributed to the affected people.
In recent weeks, a number of provinces of the country have witnessed deadly and devastating floods.
Dozens of people died and hundreds of others were injured in these accidents. People in these districts of the Badakhshan province faced to lack of shelters, food, medical team and live essential needs.
Until now, local and central officials of the Taliban group did not pay attention to these people and they request from the officials to help these people in this taugh situation.
